This week was an important one. And I have two great reasons to celebrate. First, I manage all the required tasks for my client’s development cut date. Hurray. Second, we made the important go to our accounting project.

I spent Saturday morning designing the processes and requirements for IT infrastructure. For the purpose of IT architecture – it is such a pleasure to start the green field operation. There is no need to look at corporate guidelines or other requirements. I made the choice for vendor software.

So I could run the software on my Azure-hosted environment. That is nice, as there is no need to buy hardware for this purpose. I was able to test the digital process of document processing. That includes the document upload, processing with AI for data gathering and importing to the accounting software. It all worked out very smoothly, in my case, with around 80-90% accuracy. Next week, I am going to test the bulk accounting of imported bills.
