The Decision Point

I believe that God is leading me to the decision point I have been praying for so long. I was considering, overthinking, and not acting.

I understand my WHY. I have found my niche. Now is the best time to start. Last year, I felt uncomfortable in this position, just before I began my new adventure as a managing consultant. Better now than never.

I need to declutter my life from things that do not add real value to me. The first step is to create a clean space in my home office. My folders, to-dos, contacts, and emails are organised and in line with my vision.

De-cluttering my activities from excess guides me towards my goals and adds value to the people I work for. I need to get back on track with my physical and mental health and repair the damage I have caused to my body and mind over the last 12 months. The good thing is that I have reintroduced a daily routine into my work-life balance. Now, it’s on digital paper.

I focus only on things that bring joy to my life, such as receiving praise from the people I work for. Everything else should be removed from my life. Concentrating on my strengths will lead to success for those around me.

That is why we have tools like Clifton Strengths, which help us identify and measure our strengths. Another tool is simple: list all tasks that bring you joy and praise from your manager, client, or coworker. Focus primarily on those activities. The rest should be delegated or outsourced to someone who excels at them.

Do those things that are now the best for you.

Ultimately, what matters is where I can benefit others.
