The Mountain in Front of Me

I am making good progress with my plans to complete all tasks before leaving for Tuscany. How easy it is to plan all the stuff, but the unexpected is always in the way.

This picture is from Monday, when I was still in Poprad, preparing the final project report for the initial phase. Actually, I am finding joy in this type of work again. All the reminiscences from the last project are gone. Good to know that I can work with my limiting beliefs. Thankfully.

This week was also lovely in one topic. I was accepted to become a Popular Investor on the eToro platform. After over five years of learning how to manage my portfolio, I believe this could bring excitement to my professional life. Of course, there are many steps in front of me. But what I am really looking forward to is the learning process and improving my skills. With the new status, there are additional educational requirements for investment management qualifications. I plan to conduct the training during my trip to Tuscany, starting around mid-October this year. I want to be certified around the beginning of the following year (within 6-8 months of becoming a Popular Investor). I believe that more information on this will follow in September – it is a key point for my subsequent development.

Why? I ask myself – what is the most interesting stuff I am waking up to most of the time? And there is the eternal question I have – how to become an investor. When I read Kyosaki for the first time, that was the quadrant I wanted to be in. Since childhood, I have aspired to be an investor. And I know how it looks – a dream. But, what is the real reason we cannot fulfil our dreams even when we are somewhere in approaching our middle age?

There is just one crucial step to be made- start. I can start investing, write about it, and create vlogs about it. And, if there are more people like me, they can invest with me. I wish to inspire people to be responsible with their own finances. We were not taught this in our school. However, if we want to live a comfortable life, this is one way to achieve that.

So, those were the main work-related strategic thoughts I had this week.
