📈 My Investment Strategy: Consistency, Diversification & Long-Term Growth

My goal is simple: outperform the S&P 500 over the long term while building wealth through disciplined, consistent investing.

I’ve been investing on eToro since 2019, and over the years, I’ve developed a strategy built around three principles: Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), diversification, and patience.

💰 1. Dollar-Cost Averaging — Investing Is a Habit

I invest regularly, typically every month, regardless of whether markets are rising or falling.

This approach is called Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA). Instead of trying to predict the perfect moment to buy, I invest a consistent amount at regular intervals.

When prices fall, the same amount buys more shares. When prices rise, it buys fewer.

The objective? Reduce the impact of market timing, build positions gradually, and let compounding work over time.

I believe that time in the market matters more than timing the market.

🏦 2. My Portfolio — Core Holdings & Growth Opportunities

My portfolio combines broad market exposure with carefully selected individual companies.

I divide my investments into several categories:

🟢 Core Holdings (~25%) — Three Vanguard ETFs: $VOO, $VTI, and $VGK. These provide diversified exposure to the US and European equity markets and form the foundation of my portfolio.

🚀 Magnificent 7 & Growth Stocks (~35%) — Leading technology and innovation companies, including $NVDA, $MSFT, $AAPL, $AMZN, $GOOGL, $META, and $TSLA, complemented by other growth opportunities.

🏦 Sector Diversification (~40%) — Selected companies across banking, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, industrials, automotive, and other sectors.

My approach combines the stability of broad market diversification with the potential for higher returns from individual stock selection.

I regularly review allocations, rebalance when necessary, and focus on long-term business fundamentals rather than short-term market noise.

📊 3. My Performance — Building a Track Record

Investing is a marathon, not a sprint. And while individual years can be volatile, I’m pleased with the long-term results.

📈 2021: +40.15% 📉 2022: −23.41% 📈 2023: +42.61% 📈 2024: +26.93% 📈 2025: +29.37% 📈 2026 YTD: +16.77% (as of October 9)

The negative performance in 2022 was an important reminder that markets don’t move in straight lines.

But maintaining my strategy, continuing to invest, and staying disciplined through market downturns has been essential to my approach.

My benchmark is the S&P 500. My ambition is to outperform it consistently over rolling 5-year periods.

Not every month. Not necessarily every year. But over the long run.

And I believe that a systematic approach, disciplined risk management, and patience give me a reasonable opportunity to achieve that objective.
